Our immersive murder mystery experiences get the entire crowd into the show. Our detective leads the action. Watch friend and colleagues become suspects and witness to a crime. Everyone is deputized to help solve the crime.

Period Costume Mystery Parties

Our CLUE PARTY scripts are time capsules filled with fun. Break out the 1980s hair and hit the aerobics spandex. Dance at a 1950s sock hop. Dress up for the Gilded Age. Head to the 1920s Speakeasy. Climb aboard the Eaat Egg Cruises (Great Gatzby Themed show). Head to the 1990s mall for Tower Records and Blockbuster Video.

WHO KILLED HUGH GETSME? Our Great Gatzby themed murder mystery is abord the EAST EGG CRUISE LINES (Don’t worry you don’t need a boat. We pretend your event space is the ball room on the cruise ship). Many of the characters from the famous novel are represented, including our Scandal-ridden Mini Golf PUTT PUTT champion. When you open the invitation for your character, inside is a full bio and a set of clues as well as more instructions on game play.

THE SET UP

Upon arrival, many or all of your guests get an invitation addressed to their character. Each has a character bio and a set of clues. We also bring pens, answer sheets, prizes and our new MURDER BOARDS. (Just a fun way to take notes about various suspects.)

THE MURDER IS ANNOUNCED

The party really starts when our detective presents the case. Doubling as a party MC, the detective welcomes all to the party before announcing the death of THE BOSS (for mob themed parties) or other character we never actually meet. The detective gives everyone instructions to play the game for the next 30-60 minutes.

THE CAT’s MEOW is our 1920s Speakeasy Show with politicians, old Hollywood & Broadway, Organized Crime, Jazz Musicians and High Society rubbing elbows in the shadows of Prohibition. Of course, the floor show ALWAYS includes a MURDER!

SPEED DATING FOR SUSPECTS

Speed dating for suspects is our pet name for the process of mingling and interrogating every suspects. For most parties (40 or less guests) everyone is simultaneously suspect and detective. Literally, the way the show is written ANYONE in the room could have done it. You must collect story and clues form each guest. If you listen carefully and keep and open mind, all paths lead to a single suspect. But beware of red herrings. And beware of other guests jumping to conclusions. AND beware of some guests that purposefully try to throw you off the game, as in an episode of SURVIVOR on CBS.

The NOT So Gilded Age, Gothic Garden Soiree – It’s 1892. Edison just turned on the lights revealing the cracks in The Upper Crust. This show is one part HOUSE OF USHER with a dab of Romeo & Juliet, as if written by Agatha Christie.

THE FINAL REVEAL

Grab a refill and some snacks as you sit with your notes and try to solve the crime. The detective will collect all the answer sheets. Reveal a few wrong answers before awarding prizes for the winning detectives. SOMETIMES the murderer wins a prize because NO ONE solved it.

THE TONY AWARDS

The show ends with awarding two guests for BEST ACTOR & BEST COSTUME. We listen to their oscar / tony / emmy winning speeches. The detective then wraps up the festivities and turns thing back over to you, the host of the party.
